• The INPRES DRIVESTAR Driver TYPE/S features an innovative 8-axis carbon face that enables high initial speed. The traditional design prevents over-hooking and ensures long shots.

OCTA ANGLE CARBON FACE

• Developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation, this driver uses an 8-axis laminated carbon face. Compared to traditional 4- or 6-axis faces, this offers improved strength over a large area and guarantees high initial speed, regardless of impact position.

Excellent stability with the "Counterweight System"

• By using a lightweight carbon crown and face, additional weight could be optimally integrated into the center of gravity design. This improves both distance and ease of use. A total moment of inertia of approximately 10,000 g/cm² in the vertical and horizontal directions ensures extreme stability on off-center hits.

Pleasant sound and impact feeling

• Yamaha has used a unique sound analysis to optimize the impact sound and feel that are typical of carbon faces. The result is a comfortable feel with appealing acoustics.

• Although the TYPE/S offers a high MOI, it has a compact face and a 29 degree CG angle that doesn't "catch" the ball too easily. This club is ideal for golfers who value distance as well as shape and easy alignment.
