PING Wedges "Ease of Use"

Viktor Hovland, the 2022-23 PGA Tour Annual Champion, was looking for an "easy to use" wedge that would give him a consistent amount of spin and predictable results in difficult conditions. He found a PING wedge that met that repeatability. The "ease of use" of the PING wedge around the green helped him become a world champion. This ease of use is now available to all golfers. Thus, the PING Wedge s159 was born.

Optimal amount of spin

• New Micromax groove
  The addition of 3 grooves to the new Micromax groove with optimized angle and spacing ensures that the desired amount of spin is achieved in every playing situation (compared to the previous model from 54° to 62°).

• Individually designed grooves
  The groove angle of the Micromax groove has been specifically adjusted for each racket to further stabilize the amount of spin.

• Improved friction force through radiation processing
  This technology increases the friction force on the clubface and provides even more control and spin.
