PING Wedges "Ease of Use"

Viktor Hovland, the 2022-23 PGA Tour Annual Champion, was looking for an "easy to use" wedge that would give him a stable amount of spin and predictable results in difficult conditions. He found the PING wedge that guarantees this repeatability. This "ease of use " of the PING Wedge around the green made him a world champion and is now available to all golfers. The PING Wedge s159 was born.

Optimal amount of spin

• New Micromax groove
  By adding 3 additional grooves, an optimized angle and improved spacing in the new Micromax groove, the required amount of spin is achieved in every playing situation (compared to the previous model from 54° to 62°).

• Individually designed grooves
  The groove angle is individually adjusted for each racket to ensure consistent and stable spin performance.

• Improved friction force through radiation processing
  The special beam processing increases the friction on the clubface and thus provides more control and spin.
