Groundbreaking AI design for putters

• Callaway has been integrating AI into the design of its drivers for four years. This technology has now revolutionized the putter sector as well. The Ai-ONE Putter is the result of this innovation and addresses a common problem: the loss of ball speed on off-center hits. Studies show that the ball loses about 20% of its speed at an impact point just 1 cm from center. The Ai-ONE putter reduces this speed loss to about 5% and has proven extremely effective in testing with tour players. The model includes five types, from blades to mallets, and features a polycarbonate window to showcase the technology, as well as the newly developed STROKE LAB 90 steel shaft.

Dramatically less speed loss

• A key problem in putting is the loss of speed on off-center hits. Data shows that shifting the impact point by 1 cm toward the heel or toe of the club reduces ball speed by approximately 20%. To address this problem, Odyssey developed a new AI design that reduces the loss of speed to approximately 5% (50 cm at 10 m). The new model, the Ai-ONE putter, successfully leverages this technology and significantly improves performance.

Feeling comparable to the White Hot Insert

• The Ai-ONE putter's insert consists of an aluminum piece with complex AI-designed ribs and a resin piece on the impact surface. Odyssey originally wanted to create an insert made entirely of resin, but encountered difficulties reproducing the complex shape. The combination of aluminum and resin made it possible to achieve the desired properties. The resin surface contains engraved grooves that mimic the feel and sound of the White Hot insert.

Technology visible through polycarbonate windows

• Each Ai-ONE putter features a transparent polycarbonate window that reveals the complex ridges of the AI-designed insert. Installed on the back of the blade model and the sole of the mallet model, the window allows users to experience the innovative technology.

Stainless steel body with dark blue PVD coating

• The Ai-ONE putter is made of stainless steel with a dark blue PVD coating. To increase the moment of inertia, screw-in weights of approximately 15 g are installed at the toe and heel positions of the sole.

Newly developed steel "STROKE LAB 90 shaft"

• The STROKE LAB shaft has been redesigned to complement the Ai-ONE putter. The new "STROKE LAB 90 shaft" is made of steel and weighs approximately 90g. It has a similar thickness to the previous shaft, reducing torque and minimizing unnecessary movement during the stroke. A counterweight within the shaft increases the moment of inertia of the entire putter, improving stability during putting.
