Ai-ONE Putter

• The popular Ai-ONE insert model is now available, bringing the benefits of AI technology to putting. After four years of applying AI to Callaway's driver designs, Odyssey has now revolutionized putting. The Ai-ONE putter drastically reduces speed loss on off-center hits to approximately 5% thanks to a new insert developed with AI. In addition to the innovative insert, the models feature a transparent polycarbonate window and a newly developed STROKE LAB 90 shaft.

The problem with the loss of speed when putting

• A major problem with putting is the significant loss of speed on off-center hits. Studies show that hitting 1 cm from center reduces ball speed by about 20%, which on a 10-meter putt means the ball is 2 meters short. Odyssey has introduced a new AI design to address this problem. The new insert reduces the loss of speed to about 5%, even on hits 1 cm from center, significantly improving putting accuracy.

The insert

• The Ai-ONE putter uses an innovative insert consisting of an aluminum piece with complex, AI-designed grooves and a resin face. Odyssey originally planned to create an insert entirely out of resin, but encountered challenges in reproducing the complex shapes. The solution was combining aluminum and resin, which overcame the durability issues. The resin face contains grooves to mimic the feel and sound of the White Hot insert, resulting in a similar feel.

Polycarbonate windows for technology visibility

• Each Ai-ONE putter head features a transparent polycarbonate window that reveals the technology. Located on the back of the blade putter head and the sole of the mallet putter head, this window allows you to see the complex AI design grooves formed on the back of the insert.

Body and finish

• The Ai-ONE putter features a stainless steel body and a dark blue PVD coating. Screw-in weights of approximately 15 g on the toe and heel areas of the sole increase the moment of inertia and improve stability.

• The Ai-ONE putter is available in a total of 12 models, including the "#2" blade, the "DOUBLE WIDE CH" wide blade with a crank neck, the "ROSSIE DB" with a mallet head and double-bent neck, the "#7 DB" with a horn-shaped head and double-bent neck, the "2-BALL DB" with a double-bent neck, the "2-BALL CH" with a crank neck, and the "JAILBIRD MINI DB" with a newly discussed head shape.

Newly developed steel “STROKE LAB 90 shaft”

• The STROKE LAB 90 shaft has been redesigned for the Ai-ONE putter. The new shaft is made entirely of steel, weighs approximately 90g, and reduces torque for improved stability. A counterweight in the shaft increases the moment of inertia of the entire putter, minimizing unnecessary movement during the swing.
