Groundbreaking AI technology in putter design

• With the introduction of AI technology in putter design, the "Ai-ONE Putter" is revolutionizing putting. This innovative development aims to drastically minimize the loss of speed on off-center hits. Since introducing AI in driver design four years ago, Callaway has redefined the understanding of putters. Traditionally, balls lose around 20% of their speed when hit outside the sweet spot, which can result in a loss of 2 meters on a 10-meter putt. Thanks to a revolutionary AI-based insert designed by a supercomputer, this loss has been reduced to just 5%. Tour players who have tested the new putter are enthusiastic and want to put it into play immediately. The model range includes five different designs, from classic blades to modern mallets. Of particular note are the polycarbonate window, which offers a glimpse of the technology, and the newly developed "STROKE LAB 90 shaft," made entirely of steel and based on feedback from tour pros.

Less ball speed loss on off-center hits

• A key problem in putting is the loss of speed on shots that aren't perfectly centered. When impacted 1 cm outside the sweet spot, the ball typically loses about 20% of its speed, which is a significant detriment to longer putts. The new AI insert reduces this loss to just 5%, meaning a 10-meter putt would be only 50 cm shorter than 2 meters. This innovation delivers a noticeable increase in accuracy and consistency.

Feeling comparable to the White Hot Insert

• The insert of the "Ai-ONE Putter" consists of a combination of aluminum and resin, optimized by AI. Odyssey initially planned to make the insert entirely out of resin, but the complex shapes were difficult to implement. By using aluminum, originally recommended by AI, and combining it with resin, the durability issues were overcome. The feel and sound are very similar to the proven White Hot insert.

Polycarbonate windows to view the technology

• One of the visual highlights of the Ai-ONE putter is the transparent polycarbonate window on the back of the blade models and on the sole of the mallet models. This window reveals the complex, AI-designed grooves on the back of the insert, lending the putter a technological elegance.

Stainless steel body with dark blue PVD coating

• The putter consists of a stainless steel body with a dark blue PVD coating. Additionally, screw-in weights of approximately 15g at the toe and heel of the sole provide increased moment of inertia and greater stability. The model series includes five variants, including the classic "#1" blade, the wide "DOUBLE WIDE DB" blade, the "ROSSIE S" mallet head, and two horn-head models, the "#7 S" and "#7 CH."

New "STROKE LAB 90 shaft" made of steel

• The STROKE LAB shaft was also newly developed for the Ai-ONE putter. While many players appreciated the stability of the STROKE LAB shaft, they still preferred the characteristics of a steel shaft. The new STROKE LAB 90 shaft is made entirely of steel, weighs approximately 90g, and reduces torque thanks to the same thickness in the butt area as its predecessor. A counterweight in the shaft increases the moment of inertia and stabilizes the putter during the swing.
